Being the only winless team in the league definitely sucks after setting such high expectations, but at least people out there can rock a tee with a twist on the logo. All you gotta do is substitute out this nerds head for yours and make this shirt from Armory look fly.
In the golden state, people are happy to have the freedom to carry assault rifles wherever they want and shoot anything that moves. At least that’s the impression I get from ARMORY’s Golden State Tee. Shoot ‘em if you’ve got ‘em!

Once upon a time, I was into records and trying to learn how to make beats. The trying part lasted a long time but the actual learning never really happened, but along the way, I did pick up some good knowledge about music from the past and an appreciation for finding the dope samples.
Led by the boss-man Donald Byrd, the Blackbyrds are a group that have probably been sampled as much as anyone and are far from a rare find. Nonetheless, a good place to start is “Dreaming About You” of the 1977 LP, “Action”.
Blackbyrds – Dreaming About You
After about 20 seconds of some clean ass drums, you’ll find yourself listening to the nice little break that was looped up for the classic…..

I have a good feeling that not to many people who come here are readers of the Fatlace blog, but maybe you should check it out. Although they’re on the other side of the Atlantic, they know whats going down here. At least enough to know that the new J-Diggs cover is the illest shit ever. Anyway, click here and check their current state of affairs in the Bay.

You heard about this Fab vs. Royce 5′9 battle that really wasn’t a battle? Of course you have, but I’m lazy and that’s why I’m not posting anything. Luckily for you, Doxx over at Strivin’ has it all on lock.

Did anyone make it out to the polling place today? I didn’t, and I bet you didn’t either. What for, everyone already knows one vote doesn’t matter…..usually. The King of the Yay tournament is down to the final Flammy Four and your vote will be counted! Who will take the crown? Messy Marv? E-40? Too Short? Nickatina? Only time will tell.

I guess it was a matter of time. Following in the footsteps of the much more marketable and successful 50 cent, ya boy E-40 has his own line of fake healthy beverages! This one comes from Clyde Carson and his company, Its Good Bev. Co., the makers of Hyphy Juice.
Check out the 40 Water flash site
I did a little clicking around on the site and finally learned how to make my own 40 Freeze!
- Put your 40 water in the freezer for 1-2 hours. Keep in bottle.
- Remove from the freezer then thaw and shake.
Dont forget to print this out or write it down.

Year after year, I have always been able to somehow think that this was the year. Obviously insane in retrospect, but I’m pretty good at tricking myself into stuff like this. My loyalty and faith were blind, like how some might salute the flag or believe in God.
Rony Siekaly. Doneyll Marshall. Tim Legler. Bimbo Coles. Andrew DeClercq. Muggsy Bogues. Todd Fuller. Felton Spencer. Erick Dampier. Rodney White. Tony Delk. Jason Caffey. BJ Armstrong. Chris Taft. John Starks. Clifford Rozier. Brian Cardinal. Vonteego Cummings. Billy Owens. Tony 10 Day Contract Farmer. Mookie Blaylock. Dale Davis. Bill Curley. Vinnie Del Negro. Danny Fortson. Bobby Sura. Chris Porter. Adam Keefe. Marc Jackson. Chris Mills. Troy Murphy. David Wood. Dean Oliver. Mike Dunleavy. Jiri Welsch. Nick Van Exel. Victor Alexander. Speedy Claxton. Corie Blount. Eduardo Najera. Carlos Rogers. Calbert Cheaney. Tom Gugliotta. Ike Diogu.
At some point in time, I bet I thought every name above might be able to make something happen and turn things around. Rooting for the equivalent of an NBA farm team is no easy task. The Golden State Warriors were basically the D-League before there was a D-League.
Then things changed.
The trade for Baron, Nellie returns, the most lopsided trade in NBA history, the playoff push, and then the upset. The year ended pretty anti-climactic but it was the best season I’ve witnessed and I’m hoping for more.
Tip-off in one hour…I’m out to the liquor store!

For the real scoop, check out GSoM, Fear the Beard, and Fast Break.
